Magpie Springs has beautiful natural grounds and is a genuine farm. Surrounded by gums, dams and vines alive with wonderful wildlife, all making a visit to Magpie Springs a unique experience.
Our Cellar Door and Vineyard is south of Adelaide in the Adelaide Hills Wine Region near Willunga and McLaren Vale.

We grow Shiraz, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Semillon. We make cool climate wines different in taste and flavour to nearby wine regions because of our elevation.
Our vintage is usually March - April.
Magpie Springs Cellar Door
The Magpie Springs Cellar Door is open Saturday, Sunday and public holidays for wine tastings and wine purchase. 11am – 5pm.
Tea, Coffee and hot chocolate available. No platters for walk-ins. We are not a café.
Make a booking or just drop in, find a spot in the garden, outside under the veranda or inside by the fire on a cold winters day.
For groups more than 4 people please make a booking.
Bookings in advance essential for Wine taste + Glass of wine and Platter for 2.
These Wine taste bookings are from 11am – 3pm.
Bus group/ wine tour group bookings only accepted in the mornings.

Platter includes: - 4 cheeses, almonds, bread, biscuits, ham, 2 dips, seasonal fruits, chocolate covers sultanas, dried fruit.

To keep our food fresh on the platters we only purchase for bookings on the day.

Tucked off the main road surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards, Magpie Springs has beautiful established gardens, a perfect venue for a wedding, a birthday party.

Just coming by? Relax with a glass of wine in the garden or down by the dam, enjoy some relaxing time outside amongst nature. Your welcome to bring a picnic or extra food with you (no other beverages – we are licensed).

We are dog friendly. We have 2 rescue dogs; they tell us when folk come onsite. They can get overwhelmed by groups, please give them space on arrival. Bring your pooch on a lead. For the comfort of our other guests. (not everyone likes dogs).
